This is a nice quick and easy recipe to rustle up in the evening after work.
- Fresh cream
- Spaghetti or Tagliatelle
This was a really handy one this time, as I just defrosted some cooked prawns from the freezer and had a pack of bbq salmon that needed using up from the fridge.
Firstly I put the pasta on to cook, with a drizzle of olive oil in the water and plenty of salt.
Then I finely chopped the garlic and shallots and gently fried them for about 10 minutes. Add the fresh cream and bring to a boil. Then add the salmon and prawns and allow to simmer for a few minutes until both have heated through. When the pasta is cooked, drain (reserve some of the cooking liquid in case needed). Add the cooked pasta to the cream and mix thoroughly. Then serve. Easy as that! 🙂
